Addison Coppage, Kylie Cowan, and Harper Grider
We want to congratulate the three recipients of the Missy's HEART Veterinary Scholarship for the year 2024! Two seniors from Adair County and one senior from Russell County were awarded the scholarship in preparation for the 2024/2025 school year. We are proud to support these local students as they follow their dreams and begin a new chapter of their lives!
Addison Coppage
Addison recently graduated from Russell County High School, where she was a member of the National Honor's Society, and the Historian of her school's FFA Chapter. Outside of school, she was very involved with church activities including helping with youth vacation bible study, as well as barrel-racing and steady employment. She was accepted to the Western Kentucky University Pre-Vet program, where she will study for four years before applying to vet school.
Kylie Cowan
Kylie recently graduated from Adair County High School, where she was a member of the Gifted and Talented program, Beta Club, Sources of Strength, CHEIF Nation, and the high school volleyball team. She also served as the president of her school's FFA Chapter. Outside of school, she was very involved with the Adair County 4-H group, including volunteering at the 4-H camp. She balanced these many activities with steady employment. She was accepted to the Murray State University Pre-Vet program, where she will study for four years before applying to vet school.
Harper Grider
Harper recently graduated from Adair County High School, where she was a member of the National Honors Society and Beta Club. She also served as treasurer of her school's FFA Chapter. Outside of school, she was very involved with showing horses and breeding Pygmy Nubian goats, as well as steady employment. She was accepted to the Western Kentucky University Pre-Vet program, where she will study for four years before applying to vet school.
