Donation Boxes!
If you live and shop in our hometown of Columbia, Kentucky, you may have seen our donation boxes popping up in various businesses across town. These donation boxes are an excellent place to put loose change - especially unwanted nickels and pennies! These donation boxes are emptied once a week and consolidated into a single anonymous donation. We have been placing more boxes as we are able (donation boxes have NOT been purchased with public donations), so you may start to see them pop up in surrounding counties soon! Small donations do mighty things - every penny helps!
Round-Up for a Pup!
Just like small change in the donation boxes, Round-Up at Checkout programs offer a simple way to support charities by donating spare change that usually will not be missed. Many small donations are collected by the participating business and compiled into a larger sum for the charity. If the majority of the business's customers round-up their change, the pennies quickly add up! Right now, the only business currently Rounding-Up for a Pup is Coffey's Veterinary Center in Columbia, KY. As Missy's HEART grows over the next few months, we plan on expanding our Round-Up for a Pup program to larger businesses (like Walmart) and other veterinary offices across multiple counties!
Donate Through Social Media!
Missy's HEART has a FACEBOOK PAGE and an INSTAGRAM PAGE - both of which have been approved by Meta to accept donations. Occasionally, fundraisers for specific goals will be posted on these accounts, and donations through the fundraiser will go towards that specific goal only. Consider following us on these platforms if you are interested in contributing to a future fundraiser!
Support Us through Kroger stores!
Our charity has been accepted into the Kroger Community Rewards Program! This program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations (like Missy's HEART) based on the shopping you do every day! All you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card, and Kroger donates annually to participating organizations based on your spending! Simply link your Shopper’s Card to your digital account and select NPO (Non-Profit Organization) number SH829 to support!
Support Us through Walmart!
If you often shop Walmart stores online OR if you use the Walmart app when purchasing goods in-store, you can round up to the nearest dollar at checkout and designate that change to go to Missy's Heart! You can CLICK HERE to access our Walmart Spark Good profile (note: you will need a Walmart Account for this process). Another way to support us through Walmart is the Spark Good Associate Giving Program, where Walmart associates can request donation-matching from Walmart. We have also been approved to raise awareness and money in front of Walmart (Facility 569 at 2988 Burkesville Rd, Columbia KY 42728) on Sunday, 09-22-2024, 10:00 am - 06:00 pm CST. Visit Us at Downtown Days!
We will have a booth at Downtown Days in Columbia KY in the Public Square of Columbia, KY this year! We will be selling keepsakes (including some adorable pet-themed, locally-made Christmas ornaments and jewelry). We will also have some fun games/activities for families and a ticket raffle - all to support our work with local animals!

Can't make it to Downtown Days, but still want a keepsake? That is fine! We also sell keepsakes on OUR WEBSITE. You can purchase a keepsake online and we ship it to your home a few days later! We currently have Hats, Jackets, and T-Shirts available!
Donate on our Website!
Donations can be easily made directly to our organization by VISITING OUR WEBSITE. This is the best way to specify how your donation is used by our organization. Your donation can be specified to one of six specific funds, each with their own goal. Donations given to a specific fund (supporting a specific goal) cannot be used towards any other goal. This allows you to have control over the good your donation does in our community! Donors who give on our website are immediately sent a receipt with information needed for tax-deduction the following year!
